With 12 office locations throughout the country, the national law firm will offer its extensive knowledge and expertise in providing compliance-related services to the Accounts Receivable Management-focused division of Payscout, one of the fastest-growing, privately-held companies in America.
(Los Angeles, CA) November 28, 2016—APS (Powered by Payscout) is pleased to announce it is partnering with the nationally-recognized Sessions Firm for a number of compliance-related initiatives.
“Partnering with The Sessions Firm affirms our efforts to assist our merchants with best practices in the ARM industry,” said APS Vice President Jennifer Brummett. “It is a testament to our commitment to our customers and enhances our credibility in the ARM space.”
The Sessions Firm will work with APS on several compliance-related initiatives, including the review of APS’ solution for handling Regulation E payment requirements. The Sessions Firm will also assist in the review and explanation of outstanding issues facing potential merchants for Payscout’s Risk Department.
The partnership builds on an existing relationship that featured a joint presentation at the recent ACA International convention in Denver, Colorado entitled, “I’m Watching You! Complying with the CFPB’s Vendor and Client Management Responsibilities.” This type of thought-leading presentation demonstrates the industry knowledge that both APS and The Sessions Firm can provide to ARM merchants and underscores the cultural synergy between the two entities.
Bryan Shartle, a partner at The Sessions Firm, commented: “Everything we have seen so far, as well as the work we have done together, confirms our view that APS has a tremendous amount of knowledge about the ARM space, truly cares about the challenges its merchants experience in complying with regulations, and wants to make that process as simple as possible.”
The Sessions Firm will also proactively monitor APS’ merchant portfolio for potential problems that would require intervention and implementation of best practices to address.
Brummett added, “We are very pleased to have the expertise of The Sessions Firm in our corner. This partnership represents our commitment to Integrity/Trust and Reliability, two of Payscout’s Cultural Attributes and key features of the services our customers have come to count on from us.”
